About

I have discovered over many years, first as a student, and later as a piano teacher - now for over ten years - that a key element of studying piano, especially in the early stages, is the one-on-one piano lesson. This allows for personalized attention and direct feedback from an experienced and caring instructor, similar to an apprenticeship. Learning the piano requires consistent practice and dedicated effort to develop the necessary competence, technical proficiency and musicality.  A strong relationship with the right piano teacher can be the difference between success and failure.
